Cynthia McCurdy- Director
Cynthia has been a leader in the mental-health field for over ten years. She has served on numerous boards by appointment of the Governors of Idaho and traveled the country lecturing on media and stigma and their effects on families. Cynthia strongly believes in community collaboration and believes whole-heartedly in a 100% recovery from eating disorders. Her optimism, love for life, and compassion make her a valuable asset to the women at the Olive Tree.

James M. Brannon, Ed. D- Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Brannon specializes in eating disorders for young women and has over twenty years of experience in the field. He is one of the top licensed psychologists in the area and in the country and has great rapport with his clients. Dr. Brannon has served in many capacities including the Program Director, Executive Director and Instructor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Mississippi. His optimism and energy are a great strength to the women at the Olive Tree.

Jeff Roderick, DC, CCSP- Chiropractor
Dr. Roderick believes in a "whole person approach" with his patients and brings this approach with him to the Olive Tree. He is one of only four Certified Chiropractic Sports Physicians in Idaho and also serves as a team physician for surrounding high schools. He offers a monthly class on balanced exercise and also offers monthly spinal adjustments.

Lindsey Daniels, R.D.-Registered Dietician
As our nutrition expert, Lindsey oversees all meal planning at the Olive Tree. Lindsey has had several years of experience as a Registered Dietician and coordinator of corporate health and wellness programs in states across the country. She provides support to the women at the Olive Tree and assists with any nutritional questions and concerns. Lindsey has a great understanding of health and nutrition and she teaches intuitive eating at the Olive Tree.

Annette Ricks, MT-BC –Music Therapist-Board Certified
Annette is a Board Certified Music Therapist and is well-versed in the recent research concerning music therapy and eating disorders. Annette is enthusiastic about music and art and conducts her insightful and enlightening music and art therapy classes throughout the week.

Nancy Hopkin, Heritage Makers Consultant
Nancy has experienced first-hand the effects of eating disorders as she has supported her own daughter in the journey to a full recovery. Nancy has a great love for people and will be assisting the girls as they record and publish their own individual stories in storybook form. As a form of journal therapy, Nancy uses Heritage Makers to help the girls learn to express themselves.

Sarah Ternus, Stamping Up Consultant
Sarah is our very own Stamping Up Consultant and provides the girls with a creative outlet. Sarah is our scrapbooking authority and shares her innovative ideas with the women monthly. She will also be assisting the women in making cards and other accessories as a service project within the community.

Pamela Borup, Exercise Physiologist
Pam brings with her an enthusiasm for healthy exercise and recreation. With a Bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology, she emphasizes that balanced exercise, recreation, and nutrition will add to one’s physical, mental, and spiritual health. Pam is passionate about working side-by-side with the women at the Olive Tree knowing that a team effort can make a difference on the road to recovery. Pam offers weekly yoga and healthy exercise classes.
