The Olive Tree’s vision is to provide quality, coordinated, team oriented community based care to young women affected by eating disorders. Our Mission is to provide clinically directed medical, psychological, dietary, recreational, and family services within a supervised, home-like atmosphere. Our goal is to provide services to young women who are also willing to accept and actively pursue the concept that an educational or career development program is an integral component of their clinical program. Our objective is three fold and includes providing young women and their parents with:
- A quality clinical treatment choice which is currently not available to area families.
- A transitional placement home for youth who have completed inpatient care but who might choose to more slowly and productively re-enter their home community.
- Educational information related to the awareness and prevention of eating disorders– i.e. helping in the development of positive self–images, the recognition of the symptoms of eating disorders, and providing individuals with information to help themselves or others they love who might face this same challenge.
